As mentioned in my previous article about Alum Speak#1 SIMSR is home to an illustrious alumni who has worked across the globe at reputable positions in various companies. This time we connected with our alum from the batch of 1991-93, Mr. Jamshyd Patravala.
Mr. Jamshyd PatravalaHe currently is the Senior Director – Regional marketing (Asia Pacific) at Johnson & Johnson. With an industry experience of over 25 years, he says that sense of accomplishment is the biggest joy. However that joy is not just restricted to the achievement of his own, but it also expands to the young people who are recruited and guided by him.
Talking about the ever-changing business environment, he emphasized the need of leading the change and drive the disruption before anyone else. About his experience at SIMSR, he said that the best learning that happens at SIMSR is from the batch mates when you get to meet so many pioneering minds in one place.
When asked about the newly introduced Post Graduate Diploma Management in Healthcare (PGDM HCM), he appreciated the move and encouraged students to stay abreast of the opportunities and high growth happening in this sector.
He shared his mantra of “Stand up for what you believe in and follow through it” as excellent advice to the budding future leaders.
