Coaching institutes of Kota, apart from imparting coaching for medical and engineering examinations, are now playing their part in social initiatives as well. They are organizing blood donation drives in view of the seasonal diseases.
Allen Career Institute’s -Allen Student
Welfare Society (AWS) organized two different blood donation camps in Kota City
and collected total 282 units of blood. Director of Allen Career Institute, Brajesh
Maheshwari said that their institute organizes voluntary blood donation camps
for the needy patients of 3 blood banks of Kota City every year. “AWS has
collected 131 units of blood in voluntary blood donation camp at Satyarth
campus of Allen in Jawahar Nagar and around 151 units at Landmark campus in
Kunhadi,” he said. The staff, faculty and even some adult students of Allen
Career Institute donated blood at the camps. “Blood donation not only keeps
blood and body healthy but also improves immunity to several
diseases”, he said.
A leading institute of Kota named Resonance had also
organized blood donation in the past for patients who require blood and had
collected around 250 units of blood.
