The process of re-checking the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2013 papers is vigorously on at the Xavier Institute of Management (XLRI). According to sources at XLRI, the institute has taken the decision to check each and every paper and not just of those who have complained. So test-takers of XAT 2013 should expect totally fresh results within a couple of days.
Apparently, this issue was discussed within the committee and it was felt that it would be unfair that only those who have complained have their papers re-evaluated. Besides, not all the complaints of the aggrieved tests-takers may have reached the institute, the committee officials felt.
The special committee set up by Prof Vishwa Ballabh, Head of Admissions at XLRI, for the purpose of checking the papers, is also physically checking the papers (as many as they can) after they are being re-scanned. The source told your website that the committee has decided to take this job very seriously and make sure that justice is met. Committee members have been seen to be working on the re-checking from early morning till late night, added the source.
Prof Vishwa Ballabh however did not want to say anything. When asked, all he said was that the re-checking is being done with utmost care.
