The photograph used should be the same as the one uploaded in the CAT 2022 application form. Once the admit card is received, ensure that the application number is clearly printed on the CAT admit card. This number is the primary reference identity of a CAT candidate.
Take a printout of the admit card on A4 size paper as the soft copy of the admit card will not be considered. The following details must be clearly printed on the CAT 2022 admit card:

Photo Identity Proof
Candidates must carry the photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. This helps the test centre authorities to verify that the person appearing for the exam is a genuine candidate and not an imposter. Two passport-size photographs must also be carried to the centre.
Photo identity proof for a candidate can be any of the following:
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Voter ID Card
- Aadhar Card

Medical Certificate and Scribe Affidavit
PwD category candidates need to carry a medical certificate that supports the disability claim. They also need to carry a scribe affidavit (on the prescribed form by IIMCAT). This affidavit is needed in case of candidates for whom someone else will write the CAT exam question paper.
Name Change Document
If a candidate’s name has changed due to any event (like marriage, legal name change, or divorce), they are required to produce a name change degree document that supports the name change at the CAT test centre. Such name change documents include marriage certificates, divorce decrees, etc. Additionally, candidates must also carry a notarized copy for supporting these documents

- Hand sanitizers
- Face masks
- Transparent water bottle
- Self-declaration issued with CAT admit card
Other general do’s and don’ts.
The final leg of CAT preparation involves getting into a calm frame of mind for the exam and that can be achieved when a candidate is aware of the exam rules and regulations.
