All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi conducted the entrance examination for the super specialisation courses—Doctorate of Medicine and Mastery of Surgery (DM and MCh) on November 5. The result for these entrance tests is going to be announced on November 10, at 5 pm IST.
The results will be displayed only on the official website of AIIMS on November 10. There are 60 seats for DM in 27 categories and 29 seats in MCh in 11 categories. Each candidate who has applied for the entrance test must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Master in Surgery (MS) degree from any institution recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) to be completed on or before January 31, 2017.
The 90-minute test carried 80 marks for 80 MCQs. Any candidate who is 50th percentile and above will be eligible for the next stage. Students three times the number of seats, for the 89 seats available, 267 people will be called for the next round. The second round includes clinical, lab or practical assessment. Any candidate failing to appear for any of the two stages will be immediately disqualified.
In case of any ties during the selection process, the older candidate will be given preference.
