About Character Certificate & other requirement for SBI Associate Clerk Interview

About

Dear PaGaLGuY readers,

As most of you would be aware of already, SBI Associate Clerk Interview call letters have been issued. Many of you would be appearing for this Interview process which starts from May 11, 2015.

For
this process, along with the call letter, a bio-data form has been released.
Candidates are required to fill this form themselves and carry it to the
interview venue.

We
are receiving lots of queries from students regarding these bio-data forms. How
should we fill the bio-data form? From where should we get the Character
Certificate issued? Is the Character certificate issued during School or
College valid or not? These are some of the typical questions that we have been
getting.

In
this article, we’ll try to address some of those concerns.

What does the bio-data form comprise?

The
bio-data form consists of factual information about a candidate. It carries
information related to the candidate’s academic background and work
experiences. Fill in all the correct details in the bio-data form.

Character
certificate –
You can produce a character certificate in any format issued by
your school, your college, your company or any gazetted officer.

Character certificate can be issued by –

1. Last
Educational Institute

2. Past/Present Employer

3. Gazetted
Officer of State/ Central Govt., MLA, MLC, MP, Branch Head of State Bank of
India or a Nationalised Bank

A Character certificate that was issued more than 6 months prior
to the interview would also suffice.

Identity Certificate – To be issued by a gazetted officer of
state/central Govt., MLA, MLC, MP, Branch Head of State Bank of India or a
Nationalised Bank.

Candidates
must carry two Character certificates issued by different officers and one
identity certificate. It is also permissible to get the identity certificate
