Bangloreans comprise the single largest group of students at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad while the fairer sex adds up to over a quarter of the batch. 21% have GMAT scores above 750, 58% have had international work-experience and 29% are married. How do we know? ISB’s just-released data-sheet on admission demographics says so.

In the past five years, Bangalore has contributed the largest number of students to ISB, followed by New Delhi and Mumbai.
On GMAT scores of admitted students for the class of 2010
Lowest admitted score: 600
56% scored between 700 and 740.
21% scored above 750
4% scored between 600 and 640
80% scored between 680 and 760.
On work experience prior to joining ISB
80% has work experience between 2 and 7 years
20% had worked for 2-3 years
34% had worked in the IT sector and another 6% in the telecommunications sector
25% come from the Consulting and Finance sectors
58% had international work-experience
On Age of students in the 2010 class
59% are in the 26-30 years bracket
The youngest student is 23 years old and the oldest is 39 years old
80% of the students are between 25 and 31 years of age
