Amity JEE 2019 Exam Information
The Amity University was established on March 24, 2005, through The Amity University Uttar Pradesh Act, 2005 (Act 11 of 2005) of the UP Vidhan Sabha by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. Amity is a Government & UGC recognized University. It is a fledged university. It offers more than 45 courses in B. Tech in its 10 different campuses. Amity Joint Entrance Examination (Amity JEE), Noida is an entrance exam conducted for admissions into B. Tech programs that are offered by Amity University. More than 1, 25,000 students study various courses related to B. Tech in this university. It is one of the most recognized universities in India. It offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. The candidates willing to get admission in Amity must go through entrance test first and then a series of Group discussion and personal interview. The application form for Amity JEE is available in both Online and Offline mode. The applications for Amity JEE are already open now.
It is conducted by Amity University in various centers across India including the Amity campus, Noida. Amity B. Tech admissions will be done purely on merit, so the candidates should fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria fixed by the respective authority. In 2018, the Amity JEE was conducted by Pearson VUE for AMITY in various centers. The candidates willing to get admissions in B. Tech courses should have to submit the application form for 2019 as mentioned on the official website. Amity JEE is a computer-based test held by Pearson VUE on behalf of Amity. Amity JEE 2019 Exam Date
Amity JEE 2019 entrance test will be conducted from April 8 to May 5, 2019. The candidates willing to join in amity can start filling the application forms that are available both Online and Offline. The candidates should be careful about the important dates for the exam and admit card. They must be aware of it by checking the official website and be updated. It is also necessary for the candidates to be aware of the important dates so that they can prepare for the exam on time. Before applying for the Amity JEE exam, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria for the exam. If the candidates were found ineligible after applying for the exam, then their application form will be rejected by the authority.
The candidates who have given compartment examination for their 12th standard exam will not be eligible to appear for Amity JEE entrance test. Also, the admit card for the exam will be available only 48 hours prior to the exam. The candidates who attempt the Amity JEE outside India must pay an additional fee at the test center. No electronic/manual calculators will be allowed in the exam hall. The candidates who do not show up will be required to pay an additional amount of Rs 750 for getting another date for the exam. Scheduling and Rescheduling for the exam can be done only after the registration of the application form. Rescheduling will be allowed only once and that to 48 hours prior to the exam.

Amity JEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Amity University offers various Undergraduate engineering programs across its various campuses. The Amity offered programs include 4-year B. Tech and 5-year Dual/integrated degrees in different disciplines leading to B. Tech and M. Tech admissions to the programs is based on the academic records and Amity JEE scores followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Amity University has been ranked in “Top 300” best universities in Asia by QS Magazine in 2015. Following are the eligibility criteria for Amity JEE:
|Age limit||The candidates must be 16-23 years in order to appear for Amity JEE.|
Intermediate graduates or equivalent examination from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the exam.
The candidates appearing for the 12th standard is also eligible to apply for Amity JEE. Their admission offers will be canceled if they do not meet the eligibility criteria of amity JEE in their qualifying examination.
|Compulsory subjects||The candidates must have studied English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science in their 10+2 standard.|
|Minimum required score||
A minimum of 60% and 55% for the sponsored candidates in aggregate is required in both 10th & 12 standards irrespective of the discipline applied for.
The candidates whose scores are 80% and above in their Board exams i.e. CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2017/2018 will be exempted from appearing for Amity JEE and the following selection process of Amity.
The candidates who secure a score of 30+ in JEE mains in addition to an overall aggregate of 60% in English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Biology/ Computer Science / Biotechnology will be considered for Direct admission to B.Tech programs at Amity.
Amity JEE 2019 Registration
The official notification for Amity JEE was released in the month of December 2018. The application for Amity JEE 2019 is available from January 2019. The candidates can visit the official portal of Amity to get the application form online. The registration window for online application will be active for 60 days. The candidates willing to join various UG and PG programs along with M. Phil and Ph.D. courses at the Amity campus, Noida can register for the exam until the last week of February 2019. The application fee will be the same for all category candidates. The application fee is Rs 1100 and it is non-refundable.
In order to apply for Amity JEE, three options are available. They are:
Option 1: applying online by uploading documents and paying online
Option 2: downloading the Application form for offline submission
Option 3: by using the application pack from Amity Information Centers but it is currently unavailable
Option 1: By online:
The online registration process will be carried out through Amity’s microsite. The candidates can get the application form for Amity JEE from its website. Following are the steps to apply for Amity JEE 2019:
Step 1: Registration:
- Login to the Amity Microsite
- Click the “New User” and sign up then enter your details
- Provide your Name, Date of Birth, valid E-mail address, Country of Residence, and Mobile Number
- Set a password to log in
- After finishing the registration process, a verification mail will be sent to the registered Email ID of the candidates
- Click on the “confirm registration” link
Step 2: Application form filling
- By clicking the ” Registered User” link, log in to UG admission portal
- Provide your Personal details like Name, Gender, and Parent’ s Name
- Also give your Address, City, State, Pin code, and Phone Number
- Select your category from Gen/ OBC/ SC/ ST/ PH options
Amity JEE 2019 Exam Pattern
Amity JEE 2019 is a computer-based entrance exam that is conducted by Pearson VUE each year. Amity entrance test will be held from April 8, 2019, to May 5, 2019. The scheduling and rescheduling for the examination can be done 48 hours prior to the exam.
Amity JEE will comprise of 4 sections. They are General English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. Each question will have four marks. Following is the exam pattern for Amity JEE 2019:

The total number of questions for Amity JEE 2019 will be 90. The time duration for this exam is 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours. The total number of marks for this test is 360. Mathematics and Biology will be optional subjects and the candidates can choose any one of them according to their choice. The candidates should prepare for all the 4 sections well in order to get good marks in the exam, both section wise and aggregately.
Amity JEE 2019 Syllabus
Amity JEE consists of CBSE syllabus for General English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology of 11th and 12th standard. The candidates have the choice of choosing any one subject between Mathematics and Biology for the exam. Following are the subject wise topics for Amity JEE 2019:
- General English: This section will have 15 questions with 4 marks each and a total of 60 marks. This section is to test the language skill of the candidates. Following are the topics in General English section:

Amity JEE 2019 Admit Card
Amity JEE Admit card will be issued after completing the slot booking process. The candidates are advised to check the admission microsite in order to schedule the exam according to the availability. The important dates for admit card as follows:

Once the exam dates are announced, the dates for downloading the admit cards will be released by the Amity and the candidates can download it by visiting the official website. Once the Admit card is issued, the candidates cannot make any changes in the exam center and exam date. Following are the steps to download the Amity JEE 2019 admit card:
- Log in to the official website of Amity amity.edu
- Provide your Registration number and Password to log in to the website
- Click the Download Admit Card link
- Provide your Application number and Date of Birth for admit card. The candidates who are appearing for 12th standard exams can provide their 12th standard Roll Number also
- After providing the required details in the admit card, it will be displayed on the screen
- The candidates can download the Amity JEE Admit Card and take a printout of it for future reference
The details that will be present in the admit card of Amity JEE are: Amity JEE Registration Number, Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Gender, Exam Center Venue, Date of the exam, Time of the Exam, Passport size photograph and signature as uploaded by the candidate in the application form and the general instructions for the exam will be provided.
Amity JEE 2019 Result
The results for Amity JEE will be released on its official website. The scorecards will be available at the official website within seven working days of the result publication. The qualified candidates will be then called for the counseling process. The merit list for Amity JEE 2019 will be prepared by the authority according to the ranks obtained by the candidates. Following are the steps to check the result for Amity JEE 2019:
- Log in to the official website of Amity www.amity.edu
- Provide your Registration number and Password to log in
- Click the Amity JEE 2019 results link
- Give your Registration number and date of birth to view your result status
- Click submit button
- The results will then appear
- Download it and take a print out and use it during the counseling process
The final admission will be done based on the seats available along with their eligibility and result. The official answer key will be released by Amity within a week of the exam. Amity JEE 2019 does not have answer key challenge system and the answer keys published by the official authorities will be declared as the final one. The candidates do not have the option to challenge or question the answer key.
Amity JEE Cutoff
Cutoff marks for the Amity JEE examination are the minimum mark obtained by the candidates in order to qualify for the next step of the selection process. The cutoff varies from year to year.
The cutoff varies because of the following factors:
- Number of the candidates appearing for the exams
- Number of seats available
- The difficulty level of the exam
- Highest mark secured in the exam etc.
