Here we will look at recipients of the Indian Gallantry awards this year.

Ashoka Chakra

The nation’s highest peacetime gallantry award Ashoka Chakra
was awarded posthumously to army man Naik Neeraj Kumar Singh of 57 Battalion of
the Rashtriya Rifles (13 Rajputana Rifles).

Kirti Chakra

Captain Jaidev of the 3rd battalion of the
Rashtriya Rifles

2.
Kosh Bahadur Gurung

3.
Subedar Ajay Vardhan (posthumously)

Shaurya Chakra

This honour was bestowed on 12 army personnel, some of which
are as follows:

Lt. Colonel Sankalp Kumar, 24th
Battalion of the Punjab Regiment (posthumously)

Major Mukul Sharma

Major Abhilaj (posthumously)

4.
Major Ashutosh Kumar Pandey
