The JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) is finally over and most of the IITs have begun their academic year. Candidates were finally selected to the IITs/ISM Dhanbad purely on the basis of their performance in the JEE Advanced 2015. This was also the first time that the IITs and ISM Dhanbad were a part of the Joint Seat Allocation Process that involved other reputed institutions like the NITs, IIITs, Other GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad, IITH) is a public university started in August 2008. IIT Hyderabad currently runs from a temporary campus located at Ordnance Factory Medak’s estate in Yeddumailaram, while the permanent campus in Kandi being constructed. IITH’s permanent campus measures 576-acre (2.33 sq.km) and is on NH-9 near the Outer Ring Road (Hyderabad).

At the undergraduate level (B. E. / B. Tech.), this institute offers seats in 8 different branches. Selections to these seats was done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE Advanced 2015.
