TAPMI Summer Internship Program
The Summer Internship Program at TAPMI serves as a pivotal bridge between theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom and practical application in the corporate world. Embedded within the academic curriculum, this program offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in real-world scenarios, tackle industry challenges, and gain invaluable insights into organizational dynamics.
Commencing in the first week of April, the Summer Internship Program spans a duration of two months, during which students engage in hands-on learning experiences within diverse organizational settings.
Internships at TAPMI for the Batch 2022-24 concluded on 8th March 2023, marking yet another successful chapter in the institute’s commitment to grooming future leaders. With a resounding achievement of 100% placement for PGP 1 students, TAPMI reaffirms its position as a leading institution in providing invaluable industry exposure and experiential learning opportunities.
The first year (PGP-1) of Batch 2022-2024 comprises 532 students across four programs, with the following distribution:
- MBA(Core) – 381 students
- MBA(BKFS) – 52 students
- MBA(HRM) – 50 students
- MBA(MKT) – 27 students
- MBA(IB) – 22 students
Out of the total cohort, 32 students opted to self-source their internships, demonstrating TAPMI’s encouragement of entrepreneurial spirit and initiative. Remarkably, the institute achieved 100% placement reflecting the effectiveness of its industry engagement and placement initiatives.
The internship landscape showcased promising trends, with an average stipend of INR 33,597 and the highest stipend reaching an impressive INR 125,000 per month. Key recruiters for TAPMI’s internship program included industry stalwarts such as EY, JP Morgan Chase, Havells, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, Tata Capital, ITC Limited, Citibank, Volvo Group, Wells Fargo, HP, Capgemini, and many more.
Notably, Bajaj Finserv emerged as a top recruiter, offering the highest stipend of INR 125,000 per month to two deserving students. HDFC Bank closely followed suit, extending stipends of INR 120,000 per month to 11 interns. The top ten recruiters by stipend included Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank, JPMC, Optiv, TITAN, Tresvista, GEP, Optum, VIP Industries, and Nestle, further underscoring the diverse opportunities available to TAPMI students.
The internship roles offered encompassed a broad spectrum of functions, including Risk & Financial Advisory Internship, Human Capital (Transformation) Intern, Financial Analyst Intern, Tech Risk Intern, Equity Research Intern, Foreign Market Research Intern, Enterprise Sales Associate, Wealth Management Intern, Supply Chain Intern, Area Manager Intern, and more. These roles reflect the breadth of opportunities available to students and the dynamic nature of today’s business landscape.
