Goa Institute of Management recently completed final placements for the PGDM and Big Data Analytics programmes. The institute has achieved 100 percent placements in two main programmes, and the student body is celebrating the achievement of breaking new ground in placement activities.
The institute’s flagship PGDM programme has seen 100% placement for the Batch of 2021-23, with tech giants such as Microsoft offering roles in Program Management, as well as several other companies such as Bain & Co, Reliance Industries, CRIF, and one of the Fin-Tech innovators D E Shaw offering roles in consulting analytics, and management trainee. In comparison to last year, the average CTC for the programme has increased by 20%. The highest CTC is 55 LPA, while the average CTC is 14.6 LPA.
Big Data Analytics, a cutting-edge curriculum offered by Goa Institute Management, has also achieved 100 percent placements by partnering with new recruiters such as Amazon, HDFC, Flipkart, CRIF, Lowe’s Inc., and the Trident Group. Recruitments were made in the domains of FMCG, IT, and others, with positions such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Architect, Cloud Data Architect, Market Research Analyst, and Product Manager offered. The highest CTC for the BDA programme is 40.2 LPA, with an average CTC of 17.2 LPA.
The institute’s youngest Banking, Insurance and Financial Services programme has also accomplished 100 percent placement for the Batch 2021-23, with the highest placement offer of 27 LPA and an average CTC of 14.3 LPA.
The ongoing placements for the Healthcare Management programme, which is nearing conclusion, saw Shalina Healthcare make the highest international offer of 60.4 lakh per annum for two students and Johnson & Johnson make the highest domestic offer of 29.13 lakh per annum for two students.
