PaGaLGuY reported on November 1 about the medicos who had submitted their affidavit for NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) PG 2017 and were worried about whether it had reached the NBE office in Delhi on time. As a result, the Executive Director of National Board of Examination (NBE), Dr Bipin Batra tweeted on November 5 about the date, to make the details about submitted affidavits public on the NBE website.
Harsha Mandadi, an MBBS graduate from Bangalore who is writing the NEET PG 2017 entrance exam, thanked PaGaLGuY for raising this concern that has resulted in the announcement of the date of making the details public. He had previously inquired about the same to Dr Batra through Twitter, but hadn’t received any specific date on which the details will be made public.
Dr Batra has announced that the details about the submitted affidavits will be made public on the NBE website in the week beginning from November 14. Medicos, who have completed their MBBS from Andhra Pradesh / Telangana / Jammu & Kashmir, but have domiciles of other states are required to fill an affidavit along with their application to apply for the NEET PG 2017 examination. The affidavit has to be submitted in order to qualify for the 50% All India Quota MD/MS/PG Diploma seats across the country.
The last date of submission of online registration is November 7 for NEET PG 2017. There is no official notification on the website about the date of making the submitted affidavit details public, as of yet. However, the date of submission of the affidavits is expected to be pushed further by the NBE, for those who have not been able to successfully send the same to NBE office in Delhi through post.
