Spinning around the motif, ‘Unleashing what lies Beyond and Beneath’, Nimitt ’07 looks beyond the visible horizons to support the common man at the bottom of the economic pyramid.

Increasing global competition coupled with the self confidence of a young and culturally diversified population is transforming India’s billion problems into a billion opportunities for innovation. With around 700 million bottom-of-the-pyramid consumers at varying levels of income, the need for innovations that meet many of the issues in healthcare, education, energy, agriculture etc. will become relevant for not only the world’s poor but also for the population of developed countries, where affordability is becoming a serious issue.
