“Indian Railways have converted their losses into a US$5 billion profit over past four years. They now want to bank on this prospect and grow further by diminishing the organizational discrepancies. Thus through the program managers will be exposed to similar businesses in European and Pacific Rim countries,” Sandra Nichol of HEC was quoted in the statement as saying.
The aim of the program was also shared by Nichol as, a methodology to re-think the conventional working models and making the state-run sector behave like a transport industry competitor.
The agreement will make HEC the biggest supplier of external training for managers for Indian Railways, added the release. For more, http://www.exed.hec.edu
