- Eligibility criteria
No one below a graduate from a recognized/statutory board or university of national importance can apply for the exam. They should obtain a minimum score of 50% or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes).
Candidates who will appear for final year examinations are also allowed to apply, provided they are successful in scoring minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes).
Note: in case the candidate is unable to fulfil the above-stated criterion, her/his application will be turned into the provisional status and eventually cancelled.
As stated by the respective institutes, programs requiring a specific discipline or specialization in a subject are needed to be checked for eligibility.
A candidate who has qualified with a degree from any foreign university must contact the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to arrange for a certificate of equivalence. Before the candidates seek admission to any program of the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIU), they will have to verify all their foreign qualifications or degrees from AIU.
Important: It is the candidate who is responsible for getting it ascertained as to whether she/he possesses the qualifications requisite for admission. Neither eligibility nor acceptance is ensured by having been provisionally admitted. The Symbiosis International (Deemed University) determines the final qualifying for the admission of a candidate.
With the significant points regarding the eligibility criteria summed up, we will move on to the next arena requiring the candidates’ attention.
