There’s this massive tree outside our house, it covers every window that we have, on all sides. Although it was pruned in the last millenium to allow sunlight into the house above ours, that hasn’t stopped fauna from stopping by now and then.

Last weekend, a pair of parrots stopped by first, checking out an old tree-hole that has been used by generations of parakeets as a nesting place. They brought in quite a few more later. When my father pointed them out, I grabbed my old digicam and snapped a few images. Advance apologies for the low quality, I’m not that deeply into photography to invest in a extremely good camera – the present one meets most of my needs easily.

Let the missus check out the house first. Hmm… where are the nearest chilli outlets?

Whatchoo looking at bro? Missus and I plan to cootchie-coo here. Shoo. Shoo! SHOO!!!

Hmm yeah. Guess you’re right, the cat can’t jump this high from the ground. Even if there’s a car parked right below.

You fine honey? Need a painkiller or something? Why you hanging upside down then?

No, I guess you’re right. If we’re at it at this angle while inside… our eggs’ll be hatching feet first! Bah!

Ghar basa nahi padosi aa gaye! Ab kya?
