The JEE Main will be held between 6th January and 11th January. National Testing Agency (NTA) hold the JEE main exam, which is a screening cum eligibility test for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and technological institutes in the country.

As we are aware that JEE main is carried out two times in a year. The second stage of the JEE main 2020 will be kept in April, between 3rd April and 9th April, and the application process would begin in February. In its second year of conveying the exam, NTA has proposed significant changes in the JEE main pattern.
- This year a new paper has been proposed for entry to B. Planning courses. Now, students have the option to appear for
- Paper 1 intended for B.Tech., Paper 2 meant for B.Arch., and Paper 3 for B. Planning.
- Students can apply for all three, either two, or just one paper, as per their choice and convenience.
Commencing this year, JEE main will contain 75 questions in the B. Tech paper. Out of the 75 questions, 60 would be solely MCQ (multiple choice question) based. For the other 15 items, the answers must be filled as numerical values. The MCQs will give negative marking in cases where the candidate marks a wrong answer. There is no negative marking for the other questions.
