The CBSE has also confirmed that from the year 2020, the main subject exams will be conducted first before the vocational subject exams. The exams for the subject which have the most number of students will be conducted first, accordingly.
In June 2018, the Delhi High Court had called out CBSE when the revaluation results for 10th and 12th were released, much after the admission for the Delhi University was under process. The High Court pointed out that the board must complete the whole process of examination before the admissions in various universities begin. The delay in the whole process of admission could prove to be detrimental to the future of the students.
In 2019, the CBSE had started the 10th and 12th Board Exams from 15th February. However, since it was the first time, the board conducted the vocational subjects first and the mains subject exams later from the usual date of 1st March. However, the board will begin the examinations in February 2020. Also, if the practical exams are held in December, then the board may release the 10th and 12th Board exam 2020 date sheet by November.
