The most awaited exam details for the students preparing for the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade for a MBA course has been released at the end of June. The registration had started from 6th of August 2018 and was scheduled to close on 14th of September 2018 giving the candidates a 40-day window to apply for the most important exam for the course of MBA or IB. The date to close the registration portal was extended to 24th of September 2018 because of the numerous requests by the students from flood-affected areas.
The exam is scheduled to commence at 10 am and go on for two continuous hours. The exam is scheduled to be carried out on 2nd December 2018. The exam date and the admit card release date were not extended for the candidates. The exam of IIFT 2019 was carried out on 2nd December 2018 and was termed to be rather more difficult than the IIFT 2018 examination.
- The results are expected to be released on the last week of December when some candidates will celebrate their new year with incredible joy while the other may celebrate the new year with new hope and light of working hard. The universities, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade New Delhi which conducts the IIFT examination every year is well reputed and known for its MBA and IB courses. The Kolkata campus is also very famous and reputed for its incredible teaching style and support to the students.
The candidates need to pass the cut off marks given by these institutes to get upgraded to the selection rounds. The candidates who will be able to clear the cut off criteria will be called for the written ability test and the group discussion followed by the personal interview. The candidates will be tested on their knowledge and their experience in the working world.
The past performance in the college as well as at work will be noted while choosing and testing the capability of the candidate. Having an increasing GPA and participation in many extracurricular activities will help the candidate stand out and will help portray a good impression on the interviewers.
- Once the results of the IIFT exam are out by the end of December, the candidates will be called for the selection process in January and February 2019. The result, declaring the candidates admitted to the reputed university of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade will be released in the month of March 2019. The proper dates and time will be declared on the official website of the IIFT examination.
The candidates are advised not to believe information gained from any other website but the official website to avoid confusion for the important dates of the selection process. The candidates selected for the selection process taking place in the months of January and February will receive their mail through the email if they had provided while registering for the exam in the application.
The candidates need to register for the IIFT 2018 examination by the 24th of September. Candidates who fail to do so will not be able to or will not be considered for the IIFT 2019 examination.
The date for the releasing of admit card has not been extended and the candidates should be able to download the admit card from 16th of November 201. The candidates need to carry a print out of them admit card and a government copy of their identity proof with them for the IIFT 2019 examination. The admit card of the candidate will have all the details about the time and the place of the examination allotted to that candidate. The candidate should visit the place or center allotted to them a day before the examination to avoid getting late or getting lost on the day of the exam.
The result of the IIFT 2019 exam will be declared in the last week of December 2018. The people who are selected for the next round will receive an email informing about the time and date of the selection process. The candidates will have to give another written ability test and a group discussion followed by a personal interview.
The result of both the rounds will be released in the month of March and the students will know if they are admitted in the IIFT New Delhi campus or the Kolkata campus or none.
