Hey can you tell in how many days did you receive the hard copies? I got an admit 15 days ago and i am still waiting for it.

i got my hard copy by the end of 3rd week from the day I got their admit mail.
in case u dont receive it in time .. ask them to send it through courier... they ll DHL it for you and you would get it in 4-5 days.

normally international regular mail takes 3 weeks, as it comes through sea.

Few additional information if it helps
1. Credila has no limit on loan amount.
2. indian Bank provides loan up to 30L but interest rates are 14.5% beyond 20L. IBA limit is only valid for loans upto 20L
2. Some banks do approve over and above 20L upto 25L with approvals from higher management, provided collateral secutiry is worth enough to accomodate the increased loan capability.

For people intend to drive in canada (better to have a license)

Please obtain a Driver licence extract from RTO before leaving india - usually costs 20-30 Rs. The document is accepted as proof of driving in the process to obtain license - to drive in canada. Without this, the wait time for obtaining driving privilages can vary between 1 year to 2 years based on how valid the indian drivers license is. No Hindi or Regional languages accepted. All licenses have to be in English or should accompany an IDP if not in English. Without an IDP, one can drive for only 3 months on Indian license. Indian IDP is valid for 1 year.

Please have a global credit card. It is a necessity in canada for few quick things needed immediately

Got an admit from Schulich last night :grin:. My case was also similar to Rahul's. At the end of the interview (on 21st March) i was made the offer.

The one ICICI gave me is by Bank of Montreal n its payable in whole of Canada.
Your bank would probably give U a DD by some bank they are affliated to in Canada and I assume it should be payable in whole of Canada. ICICI ka I know, other banks I think U should call them up.
