When you open the annexure, you will get a warning message displayed on right hand top side of the file. "Security Warning: Some active content has been disabled" and and option tab by the side of it. Click the 'option' tab and then select "Enable the content". Thats it..:cheerio:

Acads and work ex has no explicit weightage at SIBM-P. however Iam sure that during PI you would be asked about work ex and weightage will depend on your answers. Iam not sure of exact weightage of SNAP score, GD/PI etc as it was different last year and for this year it might change. But do not be mistaken, a lower scorer can get through gd/pi and high scorer dosen't. GD/PI can make or break the game. Even if, suppose, 50% is the SNAP weightage, make a few calculations and see how gd/pi score can change the scenario

@ abhinav007 and impratim. you have a very good chance at SIBM-P. Do not worry about marks etc as long as you are able to give reasonable explanation. It is not the only criteria and you have to perform well in all group and personal interactions which carry much more weightage. Check SIBM website for GD/PI dates.

Results are out and so begins the short but intense season of speculations.. I suggest that please start preparing for GD/PIs, if you expect call from any college.. There is a very short time between call and gd/pi(esp for SIBM-P). Keep a tap on current happenings. Brush up your academics. Buy yearbook and of-course read it.. Look for major political, social, sports and economic events that happened in last one year. And most importantly see if you "know yourself".

I want to go for HR... but some Qs bubble up in ma mind !!

1.can ne1 tell me watz d +ve things about HR ?? and -ve things if ne ???

2.how it is diffn from general MBA ??

3.why MBA in Finance n marketing are the most soughtafter disciplines ?? Wat do these disciplines ve dat HR dosnt ve ?

1. HR is the most happening field currently. Companies have realized that Human Resource is not only an asset but one and only source of competitive advantage. No more is HR looked upon as cost center. IF there were any time to get in HR it is now.

2. General MBA does not offer any specialization. You choose the electives and can choose any field you want in the end.

3. MBA in finance and marketing has glamor factor attached to it. It is because finance and marketing were, for a long time, better paid and more respected by students and also corporates. But over time this has changed and as I said in point 1 HR is now in par with other specializations.

i am an sibm aspirant, i have a doubt regarding laptop.........is it given free ?
wat if u already have a laptop does it work or u need to take the new one only.....

Laptop is not given free...You can bring your laptop. Not mandatory to buy new one.
