mavericmonck @dhinamajeevitam IM is a highly ambitious but an under rated course....has huge scope....but there arent many takers currently (neither the students nor the Companies)

the SCM IM placements hv been pretty ordinary....very ordinary comanies hv visited d campus so far...they still havent revealed the packages...even the students are tigh lipped abt it....guess its fishy out dere....but there were some int placements....decent ones...but the range fr domestic placemnets should be arnd 8 L (just a speculation)

i am myself a Civil Engr...and can say...dis sector offers a very sluggish growth
IM acc to me is just not worth wasting 11 L and 2 precious years....a Gen MBA from even a top 40 b school should offer better opportunities

dhinamajeevitam @mavericmonck : people who were not selected initially got thru on 26th march didn't convert both right....I mean i've been rejected by both core and IM.......are there ne chances i will b selected for core MBA..or will I get only IM...in case I get selecte in nxt wait list..!!!

carrotilla AR is application rating... It is calculated for the sake of shortlist for GD/PI... AR of 20 is considered hard to convert; but once you get the call, PI takes preference over everything else!

meunregistered2 As expected, straight convert for you, and I presume those were consulting geeks who interviewed you!(in the past), especially Professor 1 should a former consultant teaching consulting related subjects at WIMWI ;)Congratulations, from a 7 pointer in UG. Your blog post on Cat scores is sooo informative, it must be published on PG !
