Asking out of curiosity. What will happen if, due to buffer calls, number of people accepting admission is more than the number of seats?I shudder to think that they will cancel the admission of the lower ranked converts (we don't even know our ranks this time!) if such a situation occurs!!!

Should I take a recommendation letter from my manager for future use? Will it be used in future? If yes, what should be the format, etc? Please help, puys.

Converted IITD (with rank 5 cos I feel the list is published in order of merit) . Had a good GD and a great PI. Thanks IIT-D for boosting my morale, wont be joining though. Waitlist moves by 1 (General candidate)
