guys..the holy trinity is known not only for its placements but for many other things...so its never going to depart from that.. and the most important thing which people forget about C is it has a batch strength of 462 for 2013 batch, which is more by 80 students to both A and B..so if 10-15 are unplaced at C, C has still placed the most no. of students this year among the holy trinity.. PS: @chuckskull buddy I know u r waitlisted at C and dying to get into C..I can completely understand your position

The new Micromax ads have done their job which they had intended to. The ad clearly tells the people that without any attractive schemes and offers, they have been able to build a customer base of 1 million people. Now this is very obvious that Micromax is not targeting the customer segment which buys high end phones. It on the other hand is targeting those who buy phones in the range of 10-15000. With this ad, I believe that Micromax has attracted a lot of other people who intend to buy a new phone now and retained the trust of those who are Micromax users. Additionally its aggressive marketing campaign for Canvas 2 and Canvas 2 HD has added to the effect.

Using marketing Micromax is trying to do something which is called Low Cost Market Disruption. I too saw a print advertisement where Micromax directly attacked samsung saying, we do not offer any EMIs with our phones because our phones are not so expensive that you need to pay any EMIs.Micromax has been trying to do this since a very long time and it would have carved some market share out of other players. But my hypothesis is that whole market is still expanding and hence in absolute terms no one has seen revenue declines. Slowly marketing team at Micromax will also have to think about how to differentiate itself from Carbonn and other such economic cell phone players.

Macro max has been good with new products,,they launch new set every next month. They need to understand that service is also very important to sustain in market.Service wise Micro max performance has been very bad. They need to establish them self as a product which is not a low cost substitute of Samsung.
