Firstly I would like to applaud all the mods and admins of this website for doing a fantastic job. The suggestions and tips provided here are really helpful for no-gooders like me.

Im Ajay,25 and Im working as a content editor for an E-Commerce company. Im the eldest of 3 brothers and the youngest one finished his gradution this year which meant that I could finally pursue my dream to do an MBA from a reputed college.

I work from 10am-7pm and also attend CAT classes(joined yesterday) from 6:15am to 8:am. The classes are just 3 days a week. On days when i have classes i intend to put in 3hrs of study and on other days i can go upto 5 hrs.

My problem is that I am not sure if i shud quit my job in order to give my 100% to preparation as a tired mind/body might not let me concentrate as well as I shud. I need to work hard on all the subjects and I just cant figure out if I should take a year off from work. What do u guys suggest? 3hrs a day(avg) is good or shud i put down my papers ?

I would really appreciate it if one of the admins addressed this query of mine or someone who has the experience of preparing for CAT while working full time!

i have also prepared for cat11while working and it''s not that difficult to manage...you only have to remain focus, never lose interest...in my opinion never quit you job for the exam:nono:...if u get screwed in the exam...then u have no job...one full yr. is wasted...and more important to get a new job again u have to prepare for the interviews(and give reason for the gap)...dedicated, purposeful 2-3hrs on weekdays and 7-8hrs on weekends is enough for exam

The effects of management are to be seen in all walks of life. The experiences gained during the engineering course helped me realize the importance of management-be it managing our studies with interests or managing college level events. I am currently employed at an IT firm for about a year and half, wherein I learned the functioning of an organization, time and stress management and this project enabled me to observe how the higher management chalks out a strategy, implement it and strike a business deal. Observing over the period of time the things around, have influenced me to learn the way the top management functions to bring the right quality of work, their efficient decisions and planning affecting the overall development of an organization.

As a career goal, I am interested for a key managerial role with FMS rich alumni network, associations with highly reputed universities and corporate exposure as well as the company of high quality students FMS would be the perfect choice to aspire my career goal.
