Office Trip for Inzane Labs

When: 25th – 29th January, 2007

Where: Along the Konkan Coast

How: Road. One Indica. Two bikes.

Stay: Tents and Hotels

Who: Apurv, Bijay, Divya, Ekalavya, Rohit, Sonam

Day One:

Between us, we shared 12 cans of Kingfisher, 2 Smirnoffs and a lot of drunken revelery.

The PG gang

Lessons learnt:

1] If Rohit invites you for lunch/dinner, carry your own spoons.

2] Leaving Sonam with a box of mithai is a _very_ bad idea.

3] Same goes for leaving a tipsy Rohit with a bunch of doggies.

4] Truck driving.

Day Two:

Looks good enough to shift the PG HQ?

Biker chick!

Lessons learnt:

1] Apurv + Camera = Getty material

2] Bijay plays Flash the way most of us play Bluff!

3] Cell network on the beach : Priceless

Day Three:

Rohit and Divya now have a band: ‘RoDies” Yes, yes, very innovative.

Two minutes after this, Eka got a beating of a lifetime.

Mortified by Sonam, Apurv decided to hide.

Lessons learnt:

1] Konkan has the most gorgeous beaches.

2] Driving on an Aquila at an early hour gives you a kick like never before.

Day Four:

Needless to say, we went for this. Eka now has an autographed photo with her which he treasures.

High…higher than the sun…

He fell on his head when he was four.

Lessons learnt:

1] Doggies near a fish market are pricey and won’t eat biscuits. Hmph.

2] You are never too old to build sand castles.

3] Strolling on the beach at three in the night will make you a sappy fuck.

Day Five:

Dabhol fish market

Apurv threw us out of his Indica and we had to drive back home.

Leaving a mark…

Lessons learnt:

1] Zankar kicksass.

2] If you let Sonam handle the music, you will probably hear ‘Crazy Kiya Re’ a good 5899756 times and once more. If you let Apurv handle the music, you will listen to music made by people in Uzbekistan, which no one else has heard.

3] Climbing hills with slippers is a very bad idea.

4] When home from a long trip, all you need is dal chawal and pyjamas that fit just right.

That was pretty much it… but the insanity continues
