Xat is on the corner..Will post questions based on it.
Time for some unfinished business..:)
My take is
9 - Silence
10 - Rosebud
11 - 3
As the first statement says Ms.Tilti and previous person have the same number of characters and the subsequent word is one less than word of Ms.Titli...
--------- x letters-----x letters----(x-1)letters
---------unknown------Ms.Tilti----Either Mr.Bineet or Mr.Easwer(coz it says the next word after Ms.Titli is a men....
Since now Ms.Tilti and previous person should have the same number of characters and as well as one more than subsequent word,it got to be a seven letter word..(Silence or rosebud)...
Now Ms.Tilti's word will be either in 2,3,4 position..
If Ms.Tilti's word is in 4th position then 3rd word will be a 7 letter word and 5th position word will be 6 letter word and 2nd word will be 8 letter word...
But this possibility is not possible because as per the 5th statement it says Baadshah can't be second word...
And as per 6th statement,Ms.Sheela has to be 2nd and Ms.Elsie is 5th
So now it is like
Barley--------Silence/Rosebud-------Silence/Rosebud------Burden------------Baadshah
Mr.Bineet----------Ms.Sheela-----------Ms.Tilti------------Mr.Eashwar------Ms.Elsie
-----------------------------------------8 across------------------------------
Now as it shows Silence word is for only across,so it can be either 15 across or 21 across...
And also Baadshah word is also filled in across as per the last statement...
As 4 down cant be the word found by Eashwar,Bineet word will be 4 down..
4th word was answered by a man=>Sheela answered 2nd word
2nd and 3rd are 7 letter words each
Silence cant be third =>it was answered 2nd
Hence Sheela's answer was Silence
So it is now as
Barley--------Silence------Rosebud------Burden------------Baadshah
Mr.Bineet----------Ms.Sheela-----------Ms.Tilti------------Mr.Eashwar------Ms.Elsie
---4 down----15 across or 21 across----8 across-------------15 down-------15 across or 21 across
