As per my knowledge TIME is conducting AIMCATs for Classroom students at a frequency of once in 2/3 months.

From the last year AIMCAT Schedule, I make out that the actual AIMCAT series will start towards the end of May or Early-June.

Hi Vinay,

1) Coaching fee actually it is Rs22000, but when i joined i got a discount of Rs2000, so i paid Rs20000 in single payment.

2) Faculty is very good i can say. Normally main faculty will be good but sometimes other faculty will be coming, they are not as good as main faculty. So totally its good.

3) I have joined in the weekend batch, i.e:sunday Sunday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Also there is one more batch running in the morning, Every tuesday and friday from 6:30 Am to 8:30 Am.

4) Actaully the basic material will be easy when compared to TIME material but the BRM tests are really good, which are of CAT standard questions.

As for my knowledge i heard that IMS faculty will be good and TIME material will be good. I have TIME material already so i have joined IMS. And i am happy with my decision

My name is ganesh, and i am working in TCS, synergy park and staying in Ameerpet.

Seriously preparing for CAT-2012..!

My last attempts... Cat-2010 ----- 75%

Cat-2011 ----- 87%

Aiming for Cat-2012 ------ 99 % :)

Last year, i took AimCat series from TIME and this time, just after writing the cat-2011 exam, joined ims coaching center in begumpet.

As per my plan to crack CAT-2012....

I am first finishing IMS coaching materail and thinking to finish it by May/June.

Then i ll start taking simCats and BRM tests...and planning to take AimCat series also.

Looking forward for combined study and future get-togethers of our group...!

My take on this is Option D .

The topics that went on were like why MBA, previous experiences what r d new things tht ppl are gonna do this tym... etc..

Well a meeting can be planned anytym...depending on the ppl who r interested..

Re: the study group well you can form a study group wid ppl for your prep also any queries ppl in the forum are always there to help you out :)

Ratio of attempted questions = 6 : 5 : 4 (6k,5k,4k)
Ratio of questions answered correctly = 4:3:2 (4m,3m,2m)
Now he says in first section he scored 96 marks. Maximum marks that he can score is 25*4 = 100. So how is it possible to get 96 marks. He answered 24 questions and all of them are correct.
So 6k = 24
k = 4. So he answered 24, 20, 16 questions.
4m = 24
m = 6 . So he answered 3m = 18 questions correctly in section B.
So marks he get in section B = 18*4 - 2*1 = 72 - 2 = 70
So option B.

I have joined Time A.pet weekend batch... I'm planning to get started with Arun Sharma's Quant book in the first place. I'm a complete newbie and havn't been through any of quant or verbals books before...

My study plan is to cover the basics by June/July and then plan and improve my scores by giving mocks and analysing the same...

No concrete plan as of now... Would be helpful if evry one can share their strategy
