1) My take 12500

let abcde be the 5 tyres
select 4 of the 5 in 5C4 = 5 ways. All the 5 groups will be used for 2kms each.
In these 5 groups each will be used 4 times. Each tyre is used for 8kms.
For every 8kms travelled by tyres max dist is 10km overall.
for 10kms travelled by tyres max distance would be 10/8*10 = 100/8 = 12.5

2) My take 5 times

When moving in same directing a and b would meet 6-1 =5 times, in opposite direction they would meet 6+1 = 7 times. Forget all the constraints mentioned in this question

13) profit = 0.1a+0.2b+o.3c+0.4d = (a+b+c+d)/4
solving this we get
3(d-a) = c-b
option 1 and 2 satisfy
option 3 gives 3(-1) = 3 ( Not possible)
option 4 gives 3(-2) = 4 ( Not possible)

Might be a silly mistake somewhere. Will go with option 4 though

its not 3(d-a) = c -b , its 3(a-d) =c- b , then option (d) will be the answer
