Hi has anyone taken simulation test from economist ? I took it today and found pretty weird. share your views. gave me 4th question as RC..gave me 50 in maths after 15 wrongs and gave me 32 in english after 25 wrongs. In total it gave me 660. what do u guys think ?? Has anyone taken it ?

@nirbhay.ajeet I would suggest KAPLAN.... They are the best, the faculties have taken the test themselves, the resource material is excellent and God's gift was the PLS(Personal Learning System)...It was a boon for me...

Please help me out to pick the Coaching institute for GMAT preparation.
I visited CL,TIME and MBA Guru but I'm confused.
I'm requesting all please share your experience and suggest me which one i have to join.

@ankit0411 680 is decent I guess. You might want to work on the applications a little harder.What courses or colleges you are targetting?

Your eligible for the for fall till the deadlines are there : Generally deadlines for R1 start around September ( those who apply for scholarships apply in this round ) .
So wrap your GMAT a bit early so that you can concentrate on your essays !

kk...thanx for the information it means if i appear for gmat by march max(2013) max then i will be eligible for admission in 2014 fall...??

Work ex - more than 3 years is always good . no good score can guarantee you an admission ( even if its 700+ ) . you need to work on your application essays pretty strong enough that you sound convincing to the ad com. Your LOR's should be good too.

does nyone has idea that what should be minimum work ex requirement for getting good college in USA/CANADA in addition to GMAT score? for applying in summer fall 2013 when should you be required to take GMATso that we don't miss the apllication deadlines?

Two attempts : 680( latest one ) ( I have a pretty low work ex : Just 2.5 as of now )

I am back after a hiatus of 4 years post CAT to study & finding difficult to get the SC questions correct - these use to be a cakewalk during the CAT ..
Could you please suggest some books/study centers in Delhi which teach basics of verbal for GMAT...

@Aman_88 we generally take these when its given x is an integer or x is not equal to zero otherwise its prefferable to take positive numbers unless explicitly stated to take -ve numbers
and Prime numbers are the natural numbers greater than 1 so no doubt in that :)

On the GMAT:
1. If a question says "If x is even . . . "
Should we take into account x = -2 , -4 ??
2. If a question says "If N is a number . . "
Should we take into account N = -1 , -2 ??
3. If "If x is prime . . "
Should we consider x = -2 , -3 , -5 , -7 ??

Hi all,
I am working in telecom domain(LTE) at a mnc in gurgaon with work experience of seven years. It will be good if there is study group/partners to prepare for GMAT..Is there a study group in Gurgaon..Hopefully atleast there should be already a study goup in DELHI..

Is anyone (takinng kaplan tests) able to the individual scores. It gives me the 'percentage below', no. of corrects/wrongs etc, but I cannot the see the score out of 51 in each section.

mgmat is more precise and closer to the real gmat...
I had the same issues..with PR...but its fine just for practice

Its pretty bad ! I've faced it during their tests ! wrong answers sometimes diagrams missing .
And poor scoring !

Hey guys,just wanted to confirm 1 thing, is it just me or the Princeton Review gmat tests really ..well ......suck !!! Has anyone else faced any discrepancies with the scoring in PR??

@ankit0411 What I know is that the score is valid for 5 years.Will be applying for colleges next year.Hopefully will not be much occupied for few months so eyeing to utilize the time right away.Do not want to delay it further. Is that a poor strategy ?
