I would like to know, if there has been any change in the tuition fees for Fall 2012 or Winter 2013 batch. What I could find online is that the tuition fees for 2 terms for international student is $35,019, which makes it to $70,038 for the 2 years of MBA program. Could you please confirm this?

I have a query regarding the MBA salary survey for 2011.

Do the Average Salary/Median Salary as well as the Salary by Function/Industry in the report, indicate the Base salary only
or do they refer to the combined package including Bonuses and other benefits?

Congratulatons on your offer. Starting the program in January is a definate option. We start a class of about 125 full time students in January and a number of part time students as well.
While it is cold here in January that is about the only thing that should be a problem fo ryou.
You still have the full program, which you can stretch out over 20 months. Winter/Summer for year one... break in fall for internship... and resume studies for Winter/summer for year two.. graduating in October... or you can do four consecutive terms Winter/Summer/Fall/Winter and graduate with the group that came in in September in June. In either case you would have access to the full program and all that Schulich has to offer.
Starting in January means that it is cold and you have to be prepared for that... Having said that this winter there was really no problem at all. And I think it is an adventure to experience our winters... learn how to ice skate and toboggan and enjoy the snow...

Hello Charmaine, I have tried to reach out to the Admissions office at Schulich repeatedly in the recent past but every time I call or email, I never seem to get the information I need, can you please help?

I applied to Schulich on 1st February, on 9th April I received an email saying that I meet all the requirements for admission but space availability for Fall 2012 was a concern and that I would be emailed again by May 7th with information about when I can join the school (i.e. Fall 2012 or Spring 2013). May 7th is now over but I still have no information from the school.

Can you please look into the matter and help me?

While I do not intend to debate anyone here... the rankings over the last three years for Schulich have all been consistently sound... working with our students I do not see a decline, nor have we seen a decline in recruiters seeking our graduates. I would advise all of you who are seeking details to contact the school directly with your questions.

Guys, I dont intend to put anyone down here but Schulich's reputation in Canada has taken a big hit over the last couple of years. This is not the Schulich of pre 2010 esteem wise. Recruiters in GTA are very skeptical about Schulich grads at the moment and unless you blow them away during the interview process, chances are that you will be overlooked. With that said, if you aim to major in marketing and work in that function, pick Schulich! Otherwise you are much better off going for Queens or Ivey or Rotman.

Here is the link to the eligibility requirements. It clearly states that with a 3 years degree u need a masters, else a 4 years degree will do.

Of course, this is for MBA in india. For MBA in Canada, i guess the requirements would still be the same...
The best thing to do would be to write to them (admissions committee). They are pretty quick in responding.

I have done my bachelors from bangalore university..the only thing thats stopping me from applying to york is the absence of a 4 years bachelors.

I would suggest you write to the intladmissions and also to the admin coordinator assigned to you. You would have received the confirmation email from admin coordinator. I did the same. I had filed my app on 31st Jan as well. Had my interview in last week of Feb. I received the admit on 5th March.

There are research assistant, teaching assistant, exam proctoring jobs available but you can apply for them once you enroll by approaching the professors or department staff in person.

I wrote to Schulich about how to use Travelex for our payments and they said ppl from India have used for transfering money. Can some explain how to use that facility as I have inquired so many times, but haven't got any idea how to use it exactly. The Page they have mentioned for payment through Travelex doesn't contain the name of India even. So really stuck about this Travellex thing !!!

At this point in the process if you are thinking of applying to Schulich it should be for January in Toronto. The application deadline for international applications was February 1 for September 2012 and at this point I know there are lots of applications on wait list.
However, if you have researched Schulich you will know that we admit students to our program twice a year so our next entry point if January 2013. We will be receiving applications for the winter entry until October 1. Coming from India you will want to get your detail in well before the deadline so that you can research your funding and apply for your student visa etc.

i got my hard copy by the end of 3rd week from the day I got their admit mail.
in case u dont receive it in time .. ask them to send it through courier... they ll DHL it for you and you would get it in 4-5 days.

normally international regular mail takes 3 weeks, as it comes through sea.

Got an admit from Schulich last night.
@Folks who already know their scholarship amount- When and how were you notified about the scholarship information?

The contents were the same whatever i received in email.
Only additional thing was a brouchure on financial assistance possibilities, which I am yet to read through.
There were few grants listed for graduates in second year of study as well. So a ray of hope for future grants!!

Hey guys,
I'm a local in the Toronto area and did my undergraduate at Schulich, finished not too long ago, so I am obviously well aware of the current state of the program. I know many of you have made decisions already for the program, but for those who are on the fence, you can ask questions and I'll try to answer them.

I got accepted into the accelerated program at Schulich 6 months ago, but decided to apply elsewhere before making any decision. I'm still somewhat connected to those in the MBA program, so if I can be of any help, let me know.

I've been messaged a lot for advice, which I'm happy to provide. But please ask questions related to the program. I can't help with getting into the program or career statistics, these are all questions that are readily available on their website or by contacting admissions directly. I can, however, tell you about the program, its strengths/limitations, school's focus, life here in Toronto or at Schulich, etc. I just don't want my e-mail flooding with questions that can be answered probably somewhere in this thread or online.
