"if you were satisfied with what you HAD, you wouldn't be begging for more" .. etc...

i wouldn't tell this person something like "if you were satisfied with what you have, you should ask me more !"
similary i woudn't tell this person "if you were satisfied with what you have, you should ask for more. For unless you ask for more, you wouldn't do any good with what you already have". This is plain wrong !



I've done my best to explain usage of are/were in a sentence construction.

VERB is the most important part for a sentence to be grammatically correct !

if you A) Is
B) ARE
C) was
D) were
E) will be
F) shall be
G) should be
H) could be
I) can be
J) may be
K) might be
L) would be , etc ....
satisfied with what you have ........ rest of the sentence.

So, as far as I can see, there are atleast 12 verbs you could choose from.
I mean I don't mind if you use a wrong verb, if u mess up subject verb agreement, if u mess up the tense, singularity, plurality, etc ...

BUT I DO GROAN IF U MISS THE ENTIRE VERB COMPLETELY AND FORM SENTENCES !!!!!
