m having cast certi , i want to take admission in mba for next year , but i dont have my caste validity ,as i am passout student , they are not allow me to aplly for an cast validty , so do i get admossion by showing my cast certi and can apply from that respected coll for cast validity .. plz frnds do help me i very much distrubed plz plz ...

Do we require to submit Income Certificate also along with Non-creamy layer certificate during Admission process ?

hey guys..1 question which keeps coming in my mind...

I wrote an email to JBIMS in this regard.
They were prompt to reply, saying that admission is handled by DTE.
So they told me to contact DTE. I wrote an email yesterday to them,
I am yet to receive reply.

Each year because of this rotation policy for NT categories, one student has to suffer.
In case of JBIMS total intake is 120 students. For OHU there is 15% reservation, in this 15%,
NT1 has 2.5%,
NT2 has 3.5%
and NT3 has 2% reservation.
Which means not even a single seat if we see it on the individual basis. There should be 1 seat for each of these categories, if we want to provide them an opportunity.

It takes lots of efforts for most of the students from these categories to even appear for exams, and after results what one find is that, there is no seat available. Management degree from JBIMS is a life changing experience and especially for students like us who belong to NT category it is invaluable.

I do understand that, DTE works as per the laws which are set by honorable court of Justice and reservation is assigned strictly as per the guidelines set by it.

The seat allotment is rational as well as transparent.

But still this issue needs to be looked with humanitarian perspective.

If we remain silent, this will keep on happening. If we start speaking about it today, may be after 4/5 years people will wake up and will do something about it. At that time, may be because of our efforts, a student from NT category will not miss his admission in JBIMS.

Plz guys, share your thoughts.

But there is no seat in JBIMS for NT1 category (OHU)
Do someone has idea about first two rankers of NT1 category?
Do they belong to Mumbai university or they are OHU?

As per my knowledge 5th ranker has mumbai rank 3.

In today's paper dates have come

5th June: Display of final distribution of seats for each institute
6th-9th June: Filing of Option forms
11th June: 5 PM display of CAP-1 Allocation.
12th June-16th June: CAP-1 Admission process.

No details were given about commencement of MBA course, probably in 2nd week of August.
