This is when I lost around 20 mins to network problems. Paper was really very easy. I guess overall cutoff would be 160-170.

Disappointed with my performance...even after spending 55 mins each in VA and DI not able to get enough questions correct...in DI got very much confused in IF, ONLYIF,WHENEVR type of queston..hence spent a lot of time on these questions...dont know whats wrong in VA though...sumtimes i get 98.xx and looks like this time it would be very low...started with para completion ...spent quite a time on it....i think i should start with RCs straight away.....need to get that combinatioin right...need to work hard!!

If I have to score this much... then what is the meaning of CutOff.... Should I be happy that I am clearing cut offs or should I be disappointed that I cant get even half way near to the ppl in this discussion.

ppl getting 180 will also get calls from IIm and ppl clearing the cut offs (100-110) will also get calls... what is the difference in these two kind of persons.

Please help me solve this problem

Dear ricky, you are not completely right saying that what is the difference between people gettin 180 and people getting 110.. when the call is given.. even during the gd/pi the percentile does matters a lot.. and if you are clearing the cutoffs for any section doesnt mean u will b able to do that in CAT also.. the cutoff set by TIME is 85 percentile but thats not true for the IIMs.. it is always above 92 percentile.. (though different IIMs have different criteria) So its always good to score marks well above the cutoffs.. hope this helps..

Took the AIMCAT 1013 at home today..
After a pretty average 1014 ( scoring 120:splat:) , did better here ( though this paper seemed easier )

OA - 184 ( 52R, 24W )

Satisfied with the attempts... Accuracy for VA is still a concern ... My strength has been ditching me in the last 2 3 tests.. Got to concentrate more while reading ..

Total- 189.

The score seems to be good as of now. Nevertheless more people will give it over the next few days and then only will get a clearer picture. But my accuracy in Verbal is still a cause for concern! Hope to get over it soon.

The book/view slot option is always there on the homepage...when u enter it the dropdown menu shows the tests u can book/view ur slots for.

DI (10c, 2 w)- 38 ( MIght not clear the cut off)
Verbal (20c, 5 w)- 75
Total ( 51c, 9 w)- 195:-P

After 1014 not being that good in verbal , this test gave some relief.
But got stuck in DI in 1 question and wasted 15 mins there thus ran out of time
Quant was pretty gud.. Hoping fr 99.xx

IN SUCH CASE DUDE........ I THINK YOUR SCORE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABOVE 250 AND NOT JUST 170.....

Questions were on easier side. After DI and QA took VA too casually.
